A modern rustic escape tucked into the cliffs and forests of Red River Gorge.
Skyward Chalet blends modern rustic style with the natural beauty of Red River Gorge. Inside, you’ll find warm wood finishes, aviation-inspired touches, and plenty of space to unwind. Both bedrooms feature king beds, the loft adds a cozy queen, and the main bathroom elevates your stay with a large tiled shower featuring both a standard and rainfall showerhead.
Step outside to a spacious deck with room for lounging, forest-view dining, and soaking in the hot tub after a day on the trails. With a fire pit down a softly lit path and some of the Gorge’s best adventures only minutes away, Skyward Chalet delivers comfort, nature, and relaxation in one unforgettable stay.
Skyward Chalet was created by Megan and John with the goal of building a thoughtfully designed retreat in the heart of Red River Gorge. Together, they focused on quality craftsmanship, modern comfort, and a guest experience that feels both refined and effortless.

Skyward Chalet brings the best of Red River Gorge right to your doorstep. The expansive deck features a forest-view hot tub, a cozy lounge area, and a large outdoor dining table that seats six — perfect for slow mornings, sunset dinners, and nights under the stars.
You’ll also have access to private hiking on and around the property, with some of the Gorge’s most iconic trails just minutes away. Nada Tunnel, Natural Bridge State Park, world-class climbing, local restaurants, and scenic overlooks are all close by — and you’re only 20 minutes from the nearest grocery store for easy trip planning.
The Skyward Chalet is managed by Red River Gorge Getaways who are available daily from 8am-11pm EST to answer any questions or concerns you may have before, during or after your stay.
